There is not full change log out yet but what we do know about the new Nokia C3 firmware 04.45 is that it will improve the general performance of the phone. Type *#0000# in the homescreen to get the latest update or you can use NSU to download the firmware with your computer. change log will be posted when it’s available.

Some may remember the outcry after Rogers announced that they would not bring any Android updates for HTC’s Dream or Magic. Things are about to change because Rogers have announced that they will in fact give the 2.1 Android OS firmware update to Magic+ owners, there is currently no timeline for this update but if all goes well we will see it in the coming month’s.

All the Milestone users have had to sit back and relax and watch all the other Android users which got the froyo update. The wait is about to get a official time line because according to Motorola it’s planned to be released Q4 or more precisely “beginning at the end of the year”  in Korea and Europe.
Sadly for all Dext and Backflip owners in Europe,Mexico and Latin America you will not receive the Eclair update but for all those other regions you may still have some faith.

For all you Nokia 5530 and 5800 owners you will soon be able to get the Nokia C6 firmware to your phone. The great team PNHT is working on a port that will fix the camera bug and it will available when they have beta tested it with a few people. Once release you will be the first one to know.

Apple have just issued a new patch for iOS 4 and this fixes the PDF security breach that could make it possible to accept anything being installed from a website, jailbreakme used this to their advantage in jailbreaking the device so do not update if you want to jailbreak your phone the easy way or if you already jailbroken it. For all those who have jailbroken wait for the official word from the dev team before you do anything.

For all of you that were eager enough to update to the not final build that accidentally got leaked by HTC there is now a fixed being sent out OTA (Over The Air) so you all get the latest version. Remember it might not be instantly availble for your are so keep looking under system -> system updates if you have it yet.

So now we can add Motorola Droid to the list of Android devices that have received the famous froyo (Android OS 2.2) release and it should be avialble straight away OTA (Over-The-Air). The latest beta 3 version of Apple’s iOS 4.1 have strong indication that future iDevices other than iPhone will get the facetime feature. What has surfaced is a option in the new beta 3 for making calls with a number or a email address, with this new feature we can now for certain say that the new iPad or iTouch/iPod will have a front facing camera with support for facetime.

Today the Nokia 5530 got an new firmware version bringing it to version 31.0.005, you can get it from NSU (Nokia Software Updater) but as always it may take sometime before it reaches your region so sit back and relax. the changes to this new firmware can be found in the change log after the break.
