Some may remember the outcry after Rogers announced that they would not bring any Android updates for HTC’s Dream or Magic. Things are about to change because Rogers have announced that they will in fact give the 2.1 Android OS firmware update to Magic+ owners, there is currently no timeline for this update but if all goes well we will see it in the coming month’s.

All the Milestone users have had to sit back and relax and watch all the other Android users which got the froyo update. The wait is about to get a official time line because according to Motorola it’s planned to be released Q4 or more precisely “beginning at the end of the year” in Korea and Europe.
Sadly for all Dext and Backflip owners in Europe,Mexico and Latin America you will not receive the Eclair update but for all those other regions you may still have some faith.

During a press event for Flash/Android Google said that we would see the 10.1 final version soon and it’s now up for download for the Nexus One. Go to Android market to download this new awesome version of Flash player which is about 4 MB so you wont have to wait that long to enjoy the faster experience of flash.

For all of you that were eager enough to update to the not final build that accidentally got leaked by HTC there is now a fixed being sent out OTA (Over The Air) so you all get the latest version. Remember it might not be instantly availble for your are so keep looking under system -> system updates if you have it yet.

Droid x owners can soon enjoy the new Android 2.2 update because in a topic about Exchange 2003 email problems on their support forum they now supplied a new updated release window of the Froyo release, Moto’s is saying that the build is “scheduled for deployment by early September”.
Motorola is hard at work on this update so i won’t mind the extra wait at all because everyone wants stable releases don’t they?.
