13 April 2010 No Comment

The Opera Mini mobile browser was today announced for being approved by apple for the iPhone and iPod touch, all Opera lovers can now download it free of charge from app store (may take up to 24h for it to show up in your app store). One of the biggest mobile browser with over 50 million users worldwide enables a fast browsing experience through the 90% data compression thats being done before sending content to the phone. All users will notice that the pages will load a lot faster on bad networks with low 2G EDGE connection, also there will be lower bandwidth usage due to the compression and that will lower the roaming charges.

“We are delighted to offer iPhone and iPod touch users a great browsing experience with the Opera Mini App,”
“This app is another step toward Opera’s goal of bringing the Web to more people in more places.”
