Well now you can run Ubuntu Mobile 9.04 on your Nokia N900 and this port will have all the features the normal that the mobile version has such as LXDE desktop.
The OS is installed natively on a micro sd card and it runs pretty smoothly as you can see in the video bellow.

There has been another press release from Nokia announcing a partnership with intel that will merge Moblin and Maemo into a system called MeeGo.MeeGo is supposed to be developed for tablets,mobile computers,Netbooks and lots of other devices. Based on linux this new system will have various of hardware support and this will make it easier for developers to spread their applications to other devices that will also use MeeGo.

During WMC Microsoft unveiled their new version of their mobile OS and that’s Windows Phone 7. The press confrence is currently live at WMC in Barcelona and there is lots of stuff going on so be sure to check it out if you got time. Microsoft are committed to make the mobile experience better so they are for the first time bringing Xbox LIVE games and also Zune music/video to their mobile. While MS wasn’t that specific on the date “holiday 2010″ we will probably hear more when the the exact date of launch is later during this year.
